Getting Started with Microsoft Excel:
- Textbook - Microsoft Excel 2010, Illustrated Series, Complete. Reding and Wermers. Cengage Learning. ISBN: 978-0-538-74713-4.
- Students Data Files - Click on the following link to download these data files to your computer. If you have trouble downloading and extracting these data files, please let me know so we can set up a time to go through this.
- Grades will be posted to Engrade.com. I will be sending you your login for this in a separate email.
- You are expected to use your school gmail account.
- You are expected to check this blog for any changes or updates to the assignments or due dates. These will be made in red.
- My grading is pretty simple. If you completed the assignment correctly, then you receive 50 pts per assignment/unit. If you did not complete it correctly, I will return it to you to redo. If your redo is correct, you will receive the full 50 pts.
- Note - An assignment is considered a Unit. You will notice each unit will have 2-3 things that you email to me. Completion of all the unit correctly will give you the 50 pts.
- When submitting an assignment, please put 'Excel Class - Unit A, Concepts Review' (for example) in the subject line.
- There are no quizzes in this course.

- Complete the Concepts Review. Put your answers in an email to me at mindy.holder@sccc.edu.
- Complete the Skills Review on pgs Excel 19 and 20. Skip question #1. When finished email the file EX A-Weather Statistics to me as an attachment at mindy.holder@sccc.edu.

- Read and complete all the exercises on pages EXCEL 25-41.
- Complete the Concepts Review on pgs Excel 42-43. Put your answers in an email to me at mindy.holder@sccc.edu.
